I think A r a Irititja has got a lot of that already, and that is a good thing. This approach facilitates cross-referencing between the items in the physical and virtual collections. I support A r a Irititja. It is a good thing.
And not only that, but Aboriginal cultural business too, through the anthropologists, from their work with the Land Rights. A r a Irititja shows the children how A n angu used to live, and how my own grandmother used to live. They are looking forward to getting photos from A r a Irititja.
It also has provision for people to make short annotations in either text, audio or movie, in real-time, directly into the archive, talking and telling stories about any item they are viewing or directly into their own raa and family profiles. In effect it is a virtual museum with a section irifitja each of the separate media types. They are gathering materials, and they are very good with the people, and putting the stories away and locking them away safely. As with archival storage folders and cabinets of the physical collection, the database storage is divided into irititna sections — Photos, Documents, Movies, Sounds and Objects.
The project was established to repatriate to remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia, historical and contemporary photos, movies and other multimedia materials and to support the maintenance and intergenerational transfer of Aboriginal cultural information, traditional ecological knowledge, family and community history and language.

It is good for keeping Anangu stories safe and protected, and I think it is very, very good. But when A r a Irititja started up, A n angu want to look at photos of their tjamu, mama, ngunytju and kuntili. If I had the money I would like to give thousands of dollars to help A r a Irititja keep going, and keep getting A n angu stories. It also enables the user-friendly interface to present the collection within a simple numerical catalogue framework and thus simplifies both the research and data entry processes.

The interface and database storage structure reflect the storage structure of the separate materials themselves. The software has a profile for every person, plant, animal, place, story or event in the archive.
